European missions – new calls and info days!
Five ambitious missions were firstly introduced under Horizon Europe as new EU-wide research and development instruments. The aim is to address some of the biggest challenges facing our society in the five areas of:
- Adaptation to climate change, including societal transformation
- Healthy oceans, seas, coastal and inland waters
- Soil health and nutrition
- Cancer
- Climate-neutral smart cities
The EU Commission has now published an update of the work programme with new calls for proposals with a submission deadline in September 2022. Accompanying this, the EU Commission offers virtual information days on May 17th/18th, 2022, where the new calls for proposals will be presented. In addition, there will be an opportunity to network and meet potential proposal partners at a brokerage event on May 19th, 2022.
