European Joint Programme Cofunds "EJP Rare Diseases": Call for Proposals 2020
The European Joint Programme for Rare Diseases (EJP RD) - following the ERA network E-Rare - has published several calls for proposals and an event announcement on the topic of rare diseases.
- Joint Transnational Call (JTC) 2020: Under the JTC 2020 on “Preclinical research for the development of effective therapies for rare diseases”, transnational collaborative projects can be funded. The application process has two stages. The submission deadline for the first stage ends on February 18, 2020. Further information:JTC 2020 of EJP RD / Official BMBF announcement
- Networking Support Scheme (NSS): The NSS provides financial support in organizing workshops and conferences for new and existing research networks. Medical professionals, researchers and representatives of patient organizations are invited to apply. The workshops and conferences should focus on research results and innovations. - Clinical Trials Methodology Demonstration Projects: Projects are to be funded in clinical studies and statistical methods used in clinical studies. The call for applications is expected to open on February 1st, 2020. Only organizations participating in the EJP RD are eligible to apply. - Rare Diseases Research (RDR) Challenges Call & Networking Event: The aim of the RDR Challenges Call is to support cooperation between industry, academia, small and medium-sized companies and patient organizations for the solution of challenges in the field of rare diseases. The call is expected to open in March 2020. It is still possible to register for the RDR Challenges Networking Event until January 31, 2020. This event is intended to enable cooperation between actors who want to apply for the call. Further information: RDR Challenges des EJP RD
