Joint Undertaking ECSEL: 2019 Call for Proposals

The Joint Undertaking ECSEL published the 2019 Call for Proposals on 6 February 2019.

The calls ECSEL-2019-1-IA (Innovation Actions) and ECSEL-2019-2-RIA (Research and Innovation Actions) are open to ECS topics in the following areas:

Digital Life
Systems and Components: Architecture, Design and Integration
Connectivity and Interoperability
Safety, Security and Reliability
Computing and Storage
Process Technology, Equipment, Materials and Manufacturing for Electronic Components Systems

The two RIA call for proposal (ECSEL-RIA-2019-2-Special-Topic-1 and ECSEL-RIA-2019-2-Special-Topic-2) address special topics:

Architecture, components and systems for validation / simultation of connected automated vehicles
Edge Computing

The application procedure for RIA and IA proposals has two stages.

The CSA call ECSEL-2019-3-CSA-HealthE aims to support the Lighthouse Initiative Health.E. The application process for Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) is one-staged.

The deadline for submission of project outlines for Innovation Actions and Research Innovation Actions is 7 May 2019; the deadline for submission of complete project proposals is 18 September 2019. The submission deadline for CSA proposals is 28 March 2019.
