HORIZON EUROPE – Work programs 2026/2027 offer new funding opportunities
The European Commission has published the Horizon Europe work programs for 2026/2027. This marks the start of the last calls of the current funding period. An overview of the planned funding topics with submission deadlines can be found on the EPC website (with ZIH login):

In this context, the European Project Center invites you to a special double event on January 23, 2026, which will provide valuable insights and practical tips for European collaborative research projects. The two events will also provide an opportunity to find out more about the funding program and discover exciting funding opportunities.
Part 1: Horizon Europe in a Nutshell
Time: 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
Learn about the opportunities and funding possibilities that Horizon Europe, the European Union's largest funding program for research and innovation, has in store for your collaborative projects in a compact and understandable way. Be inspired and discover how you can take your research to the next level.
Part 2: Find a Call - European research projects in focus
Time: 11:00 - 11:45 a.m.
Get practical tips and tricks to search for calls for European collaborative research projects in a targeted manner, find suitable funding opportunities and benefit from the opportunities to establish new and valuable partnerships by participating in these projects.
