M-ERA.NET II
Within the German announcement of the M-ERA.NET II Call 2016 transnational research projects with a focus on the following thematic areas are supposed to be funded:
- Battery materials
- Materials for additive manufacturing
- Graphene and graphene-like materials
M-ERA.NET aims to coordinate R&D activities addressing materials research and innovation (with the scope on innovative industrial applications of new materials) of the participating member countries. Transnational cooperation of European research groups from industry and science shall be supported by transnational funding activities in order to increase the international competitiveness of Europe as an R&D location.
M-ERA.NET is a network of 41 public funding organisations from 29 European and non-European countries.
The funding for universities can cover up to 100 percent of the project-related eligible expenses. For research projects at universities an additional 20% flat rate on the eligible costs of actions will be granted.
The application process is a two-stage submission process. The deadline for submitting project proposals is 14 June 2016.
