The Federal Ministry of Education and Research actively participates in the European Eureka-Cluster PENTA ("Pan-European Partnership in micro- and Nano-electronic Technologies and Applications", 2016-2020) and published the new Call for Proposals for the 2018 funding round.
The purpose of the Cluster, which was initiated by the countries Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Hungary and Turkey, is to catalyze research, development and innovation in areas of micro- and nanoelectronics enabled systems and applications across the value chain. Between 2016 and 2020, bi- and multilateral strategic R&D-projects will be funded.
The submission of proposals is organised in a two-stage procedure. Deadline for the submission of project outlines (Call 2020) is 28 February 2020.
