QuantERA with new 2023 Call!
QuantERA ERA-NET Cofund in Quantum Technologies is a consortium of Research Funding Organisations (RFOs) supporting research and innovation in Quantum Technologies (QT) in Europe.
The funding organisations of QuantERA jointly support European multilateral research projects with the potential to initiate or foster new lines of QT through collaborations exploring advanced multidisciplinary science and/or cutting-edge engineering.
The Call will comprise two topics:
- Quantum Phenomena and Resources
- Applied Quantum Science
Projects are expected to address one or more of the following research areas:
- Quantum communication
- Quantum simulation
- Quantum computation
- Quantum information sciences
- Quantum metrology sensing and imaging
Timeline and eligibility criteria:
- 02.03.2023 - Info-webinar
- 11.05.2023 – full-proposal submission
- Topic 1 DFG-funding, topic 2 BMBF-funding
- consortium: typically three to six partners (minimum of three partners from three participating countries)
- between 24 and 36 months project duration
- 20 % - 22 % overhead

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom
