Directive EuProNet released
On 07.03.2017, the SMWK directive on the granting of grants for activities under the EU's competitive research and innovation programs was published.
The aim of the funding is to increase the participation of Saxon scientists and universities in calls for tenders under competitive EU funding programs for research and innovation. This is intended to increase Saxony's European visibility in research and innovation.
Research projects through competitive EU funding programs (such as ERA nets) in which the Free State of Saxony is a partner and network activities (e.g., KICs) are funded.
Eligible costs are:
- Staff costs
- material expenses, including travel expenses
- expenditure on third-party services
- Investment costs (no construction measures)
- patent costs
The funding can cover up to 100 percent of the project-related eligible expenses.
