JU SESAR: Call launched for exploratory research projects on drone integration into civil airspace
The SESAR Joint Undertaking has launched a call for exploratory research projects on the integration of drones into civil airspace within the framework of the SESAR 2020 research and innovation programme. Specifically, the call aims to stimulate initial solutions for drone traffic management, supporting the sharing of airspace between manned and unmanned systems.
The following topics with deadline 25 October 2016 are announced under the SESAR call:
RPAS-01: SESAR UTM Concept Definition
RPAS-02: Drone information management
RPAS-04: Ground-based technology
RPAS-06: Security & cyber-resilience
RPAS-07: Science for higher levels of automation
