Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchange!
The European Commission has published the first call for Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchange in the new funding period!
The focus of the funding line under the umbrella of the Horizon Europe research program is the support of joint research through the exchange of staff within the framework of partnerships between universities, research infrastructures, companies and other socio-economic actors in Europe and beyond. This will strengthen international and cross-sectoral cooperation.
Short-term interdisciplinary, international exchanges between employees in the field of research and innovation from university and non-university institutions within Europe and worldwide are financed.
The employees can benefit from the exchange of knowledge, from the acquisition of new knowledge and skills as well as new perspectives for their careers.
The participating staff members can be researchers of any career level, from PhD students to postdocs, as well as administrative, specialist or managerial staff who are involved in research and innovation activities. In addition, the person can be of any nationality; but must be involved in research and innovation activities of your sending organization at least one month before the posting or be contractually linked to them. During your stay you will receive a supplementary allowance for all expenses during your stay in the host institution.
The application for an MSCA Staff Exchange project must be submitted electronically to the European Commission by March 9, 2022.
A requirements for a successful application is the participation of organizations from three different countries, two of which must be recognized in the EU or in one as an associated country. Secondments can take place for up to 36 months, with a minimum of one to a maximum of twelve months.
