I would like to learn, get oriented, and gain knowledge on my own.
Would you like to get a general overview, understand the basics, or build specific knowledge – at your own pace?
No problem: On the TUD intranet, self-study materials, interactive guides, examples, and templates will help you manage your research data independently and in a structured way – whenever it fits into your daily research routine. Please also check our training events for relevant presentations and workshops.
I am looking for help with data management planning for my project or research group.
Are you planning a grant application or a collaborative project, or would you like to revamp the research data management in your group, chair, or faculty?
You do not have to do this alone. The Service Center Research provides personalized support – from the initial idea to concrete implementation. Together, we will find solutions that fit your research context.
We support you with...
- Data management planning for collaborative projects: Support and guidance from the initial proposal idea through the application process, throughout the project’s duration, and until the project’s conclusion (for Horizon Europe, coordinated DFG programs, Clusters of Excellence, projects with third-party funding from other funding institutions, etc.)
- Data management planning within your research group: Conceptual and technical data management consulting for research groups, Chairs, and Institutes, as well as faculties and Central Units.
- Text consulting for grant proposals for individual projects: Use our online form for individual projects to easily receive a draft text for your data management plan by answering just a few questions (e.g., DFG research grant).

The earlier you incorporate data management into your project planning, the smoother the subsequent implementation will be later on. Feel free to contact us as early as the application phase. You can book a consultation appointment at any time using our appointment scheduling tool . |
