Johann Andreas Schubert Foundation

The Johann Andreas Schubert Foundation, in collaboration with SACHSENMETALL, is offering the Johann Andreas Schubert Prize to recognise outstanding diploma, master's and doctoral theses in the following fields

• Electrical engineering,
• Mechanical engineering,
• Process and energy engineering, and
• Materials science/materials technology and Transport sciences.

The theses must contain innovative ideas and/or application-oriented methods and/or practically applicable solutions. Applicants must have completed the thesis independently and not yet submitted it for any other award. This must be declared by the authors and confirmed in writing by their supervisors or reviewers. The universities evaluate the theses with a short accompanying report. A brief description using a form should outline the objectives, results, cooperation with companies and innovations.
