The Gesellschaft für Datenschutz und Datensicherheit e.V. (GDD) awards a science prize for outstanding scientific work in the fields of data protection and data security. The prize amounts to €5,000. It can also be shared between several papers. The prize is to be awarded preferentially to early-career researchers. Theses that have been completed or are in the process of being completed or doctoral theses will be considered. Theses from the fields of Law, Business Administration and Economics, Computer Science and other applied disciplines are eligible.
