Industrieclub Sachsen Innovation Prize
Every year, the Industrieclub Sachsen e.V. awards the Innovation Prize of the
Industrieclub Sachsen honors outstanding dissertations by early-career researchers at TU Dresden, which are characterized by the particular practical relevance of their innovative content.
Prize money
The prize is sponsored by Industrieclub Sachsen e.V. and is endowed with €5,000.
Selection criteria
The work must result in innovative ideas and/or application-oriented methods and/or practically usable solutions. The practical relevance of theoretical findings must be presented in the work and, if possible, proven by an expert opinion from industry. University lecturers at TU Dresden are eligible to nominate candidates.
Jury
The University Executive Board will chair the jury. The jury is also made up of representatives of the board of the Industrieclub Sachsen e.V. and university lecturers from the TU Dresden departments.
Award ceremony
The award ceremony will be held by the Rector and the President of Industrieclub Sachsen e.V.
Call for entries
The work should have been completed and defended between January and December of the previous year. Proposals, including an expert opinion on the work, must be submitted to the University Executive Board of TU Dresden, Office of the Rector/Academic Committees. The submission deadline is the end of February of the respective award year.
