TIP funding competition launched

Have you developed a new technology, an exciting process, a unique method or a highly capable piece of software in your research? Have you been able to demonstrate the proof-of-principle and now have a concrete commercial product in mind for the application of the research results? But you lack the resources for the final decisive step to convince companies to become partners for the application?

Then take part in the TIP funding competition and secure funding from the TUD Innovation Pool (TIP) for the implementation of your ideas!

The Center offers various services along the innovation chain from research to application:

for TUD employees

The TUD|excite supports members of the TUD with:

  • Development and implementation of the exploitation strategy for technologies and project results developed at TU Dresden
  • Advice on exploitation concepts in the context of applications for research funding
  • Supporting the marketing and distribution of research results to potential users in industry
  • Negotiation and management of license and exploitation agreements relating to TU Dresden's research results
  • Support in the initiation and management of technology transfer projects
TUD Innovation Pool

With the TUD Innovation Pool, the TUD has its own flexible and quickly deployable financing instrument for validating research results for commercial application. The aim is to bridge the gap between the end of a research project and the requirements of potential users in a targeted manner.

TUD|excite offers companies the following services:

  • Contact persons at TU Dresden for the appropriate mediation of research projects with scientists by specialized innovation managers
  • Advice on obtaining rights of use (licenses), transfer of patents, copyright laws and  know-how
  • Cooperation initiation and project support for technology transfer projects
  • Development and coordination of strategic partnerships for technology transfer with interested companies
