TUD-Expertise at Hannover Messe 2017
The Institute of Applied Photophysics is showcasing its unique expertise together with the competence network Organic Electronics Saxony (OES), Europe’s leading cluster for organic semiconductors. At the world stage for networked industry, a process module for the processing of flexible substrates, which has particularly been designed for ultra-thin and flexible glasses, will be presented. Currently, university research focuses on novel optical sensors and filters. In international cooperation projects, the OES experts immerse themselves in topics such as functional electronics on surfaces of any shape, OLED-based systems for the integration into printable products as well as OLEDs on ultra-thin glass.
The professional calling card of the scientists from the TU Institute of Manufacturing Science and Engineering is very impressive. On the way to the era of industry 4.0, they deal with innovative topics such as “flexible production of individualised products”, “COAXn coaxial processing head for the laser-powder welding”, “dispenser printing technology”, as well as “deep drawing without lubricant – tools and methods”. Further excellent exhibits from the Institute of Machine Tools and Control Engineering, the Chair of Automobile Engineering, as well as the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology complement this year’s industrial fair presentation of TUD scientists.
Have we sparked your interest in professionally exchanging with TUD experts? Until 28 April 2017 you can encounter exhibitors of Technische Universität Dresden at the joint stand “Research for the Future” in hall 2 (stand A 38).
