TUD Expertise at the 2018 Hannover Messe
The Institute of Applied Photophysics in conjunction with Europe's leading cluster for organic semiconductors – the competence centre Organic Electronics Saxony (OES) – offers unique expertise: Currently, the focus of university research is on novel optical sensors for the near infrared range and for bioelectronics. In international cooperation projects, OES experts deal with topics such as printed electronics, which have been thermally formed into 3D surfaces, with luminous, intelligent electronics in packaging and printed products, or with organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) onto flexible, thin glass.
The expertise of the scientists at the TU Institute of Manufacturing Science and Engineering is also highly impressive: Within the framework of micro structuring and macro structuring of deep-drawing tools for dry forming, they envisage the implementation of lubricant-free forming, and thereby achieve the decisive ecological and economic advantages. The Institute of Machine Tools and Control Engineering will also be presenting first-class exhibits. At the trade fair, scientists will demonstrate how machine learning for production technology could look in the future. With Detact, they offer an all-in-one system that gives manufacturing and material-processing companies the opportunity to continuously deepen their technological knowledge.
If the quality of your products is important to you, we suggest getting in contact with the experts of TU Dresden at the joint stand ‘Research for the Future’. The exhibitors of Technische Universität Dresden will be at booth A 38 in hall 2 until 27 April 2018.
