SENSCUBATOR
The SENSCUBATOR is an innovation community within the DATIpilot program. Its aim is to accelerate the market-oriented development of sensors and sensor systems and to increase transfer efficiency from public research to industry. The focus is on creating sustainable structures for efficient technology transfer at the interface between science and industry.
The SENSCUBATOR community brings together experts from TUD Dresden University of Technology, Chemnitz University of Technology, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) and VEMAS.innovativ with companies from various industries to jointly develop innovative sensor solutions and bring them into application. The SENSCUBATOR offers support in a targeted manner through the SENSCUBATOR Fund, which provides funding opportunities for transfer projects. Technical and methodological competence pools can also be used for transfer projects.
The SENSCUBATOR team is committed to the establishment and sustainable development of the community. This includes the establishment of a community office as a central point of contact, the organization of network meetings, the provision of management support and measures for internal and external communication. The strategic selection and promotion of suitable R&D projects accelerates the innovation process and enables the broad application of sensory technologies in various branches of industry.
Call for Ideas: From the idea to the market with the SENSCUBATOR
The first round of applications has been completed. We are delighted with the high level of participation and would like to thank you for the many exciting and innovative project ideas. In just four weeks, we received 36 exciting submissions from seven institutions.
The next call is already being planned and is expected to start at the beginning of 2026.
