The end of your PhD is in sight or you are a postdoc and want to launch your carrier outside academia? Then visit our information event “Beyond Academia: Career steps after your PhD”. This special career event is organized by members of the Graduate Academy who participated in the GA “Future Career Program: Business” – from GA members for GA members.

• 13:00 – 13:15 Introduction, Dr. Barbara Könczöl (Graduate Academy)
• 13:15 – 13:45 Presentation of the speakers on their professional background
• 13:45 – 14:30 Podium discussion with the speakers
• 14:30 – 15:30 Round-table discussion, rounds of 15 min
• 15:30 – 16:00 Closing and networking

The guest speakers will present their career paths after their PhD. In a podium discussion, general questions about the job start in a company, job requirements and planning of a career will be covered. You will be able to ask your own questions to the experts during round-table discussions. Sharing some snacks, which are kindly provided by SZ-jobs (http://www.sz-jobs.de/), you can extend your personal network in the biology courtyard afterwards.

The event will be held in English. Registration is not necessary. We are looking forward to an interesting information event with you!
