Postdocs often have to take on leading positions in science, teams and/or corporations. In this situation, typically several questions arise: What does leadership mean? What competencies are important for effective leadership? What methods and tools are useful to lead teams successfully? Am I ready for a leading position? What are the things I have to do and what do I have to avoid? In this workshop, the participants will work on the one hand on their personal leading skills by reflecting and anticipating leadership theoretically and practically. On the other hand, they will work on questions of team-development and processes of teambuilding. Despite the theoretical fundament we will train and reflect situations, such as conversations in different settings and with different tasks (motivation, problem solving, hierarchy etc.). All participants are warmly invited to contribute to the workshop by bringing their own questions and situations. The workshop will give the participants both a theoretical and a practical approach on leadership and team-development. |
