Im Workshop erfolgt eine Analyse der Karriereanforderungen im Wissenschaftsfeld. Die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema „unconscious bias“ bildet die Basis, um über individuelle und strukturelle Barrieren aufgrund des Geschlechtes zu diskutieren. Stereotype und Missverständnisse prägen Erwartungen und Entscheidungen nicht nur auf struktureller, sondern auch auf individueller Ebene. Sich seiner eigenen Stärken, Kompetenzen und Potenziale bewusst zu werden, ist eine Voraussetzung für Ziele, strategische Karriereplanung und konkrete Umsetzung. Auch die Bedeutung der Familie innerhalb dieser Rahmenbedingungen wird diskutiert. Herausforderungen, wie die Organisation von Arbeit und Familie, in Verbindung mit Fokussierung und Ressourcennutzung sind Themen, die erörtert werden. Effekte und Wirksamkeit der Unterstützungsmaßnahmen der TU Dresden sowie gesellschaftlichen Rahmen-bedingungen und Fördermöglichkeiten (Gender Mainstreaming, Frauen-förderung etc.) für die eigene Karriere, aber auch das jeweilige Institut (Nutzen) werden in die Betrachtung einbezogen. |
