If you study elementary school teaching, you'll be right in the morning and free in the afternoon, right? In the latest episode of the video format "Sitzgelegenheit", students of TU Dresden reveal what's true about this cliché, whether they already own a laminating machine and how much it annoys them to be called an elementary school chick.

The video will also investigate the question of why there are actually mainly female teachers at elementary schools, whether elementary school teaching students also like to make things in their free time, and whether they are exceptionally patient. The video was shot in the elementary school rooms of the University School Dresden.

On “Hot Seat,” TU Dresden’s staff, students and alumni answer burning questions submitted by our Instagram community. Each episode focuses on a different group of people who all have something in common– be it that they share the same workplace, same degree program, or same research area.
