Submit now: Your school for the Season of Excellence - DRESDEN SUMMER SCHOOLS 2026

The Season of Excellence - Dresden Summer Schools starts a new round. With over 120 schools published since 2023, the visibility initiative established by TUD and DRESDEN-concept demonstrates the interdisciplinarity and vividness of Dresden as an excellent science hub.

For the 2026 season, excellent Dresden Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter Schools will be collected, whose appeal extends far beyond the region: For the first time, schools organized outside Dresden with the TUD and/or another DRESDEN-concept partner can also be submitted.

School makers, bright minds and junior scientists from all over the world can connect via the collection and support information on the central website for the current school season in and beyond Dresden.

In order to have your summer school listed on the 2026 website as early as possible, please send an e-mail to the joint project team with the following key data

• Period of the event

• Registration period

• Event location

• Target group

• Participation costs

• Event language

• Participating DRESDEN-concept partners

• Topic (There will be a clustering according to the following topics. Multiple selection is possible. If the Summer School does not fit into any of the clusters, please let us know).

• Natural Science

• Humanities, Social Sciences and Teacher Education

• Engineering and Computer Sciences

• Civil and Environmental Engineering, Transport and Traffic

• Sustainable Development

The website will be continuously updated with new offers after the season starts in March. 
The project team will also be happy to assist you with  guidelines for planning your own 2026 summer school.
