In the summer semester 2025, the research project "The TH Dresden under National Socialism" will continue its colloquium series on the history of colleges and universities. The interdisciplinary colloquium offers space for lectures and discussions on the history of colleges and universities in the field of tension between science, politics and society - with a special focus on the 20th century.

The aim of the series is to make new perspectives on the history of academic institutions visible and to present current research work for discussion in an open forum. The focus is on overarching structures and transformation processes as well as case studies on individual institutions, disciplines and stakeholders.

Renowned academics from Germany and abroad as well as young researchers will present their work on the history of science and universities. All interested parties - inside and outside the university - are cordially invited to attend.
