At the invitation of the Saxon State Minister for Culture and Tourism, Barbara Klepsch, Christoph Lundgreen, Chair of Ancient History at the TUD, will be a guest at the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) in Rome on December 6, 2024.

Together with his Leipzig colleague Dr. Jörg Lang and other experts, he will take part in the panel discussion "Crisis and State Formation", which will take place as part of a working group meeting of the Saxony – Lazio regional partnership.

By bringing together historical, archaeological and political perspectives, the discussion is intended to contribute to thinking spaces for current social discussions.
