From May 02 to 06, Prof. Dr. Uriya Shavit will be a guest at TU Dresden. Uriya Shavit is a Professor of Islamic Studies at Tel Aviv University. He specializes in Islamic law, theology and politics. He is also the author of several novels and children's books.

Uriya Shavit will give insights into the sociology of religion at a joint breakfast at the Research Center for Comparative History of Religious Orders (FOVOG, Budapester Straße 34 b) on Tuesday, May 6, between 8 and 9 am. Anyone who is interested is cordially invited to attend.
