Dr Noa K. Ha speaks at #UNTEILBAR
On 24 August, the #Unteilbar large-scale demonstration will take place in Dresden. Dr. Noa K. Ha, director of the Centre for Integration Studies at the TU Dresden, will be there. She will speak about the solidary post-migrant society at the start of the demonstration at Altmarkt shortly after 1 pm.
The TU Dresden scientist is taking part in the demonstration because "it is urgent in these times and before the elections. For many years I have been working for a democratic and discrimination-free society, both with my academic and civil society work. However, the growing rise and normalisation of anti-democratic forces in the last few years is extremely worrying, which unfortunately cannot only be observed in (East) Germany." Dr. Noa K. Ha also refers to an open letter to voters by the political scientist Prof. Hajo Funke, in which he explains in great detail how an anti-democratic movement is organising itself, which he identifies as a neo-fascist danger. [1] "I want to resolutely oppose this danger and stand up for a society based on solidarity, respect and freedom from discrimination," explains Dr. Noa Ha.
