On the occasion of the third anniversary of the Centre for Integration Studies, the event „Drei Positionen zu Integration: Inklusion. Desintegration. Zusammenhalt?“ took place on the 25 September 2019. Three prominent guests discussed ideas of integration, integration conditions and the limits of integration: Petra Köpping, Prof. Dr. Aladin El-Mafaalani and Dr. Max Czollek.

The keynote speech „Ost-Migrantische Integrationsperspektiven – Grenzen und Potentiale des Integrationsbegriffs in Deutschland“ was given by Prof. Dr. Naika Foroutan, Professor of „Integrationsforschung und Gesellschaftspolitik“ at the Humboldt University in Berlin and Director of the „Deutsches Zentrum für Integrations- und Migrationsforschung“ (DeZIM). In the run-up to the event, she gave an interview to the University Journal of the TU Dresden on the situation of integration research in Germany and on Dresden as a science location.
