In Dresden Ankommen (IDA) is a student initiative at the Centre for Integration Studies of the TU Dresden. It is supported by employees of the TU Dresden and other Dresden people. With our work, we pursue the following goals:

• Coordination of offers of assistance from students for refugees
• Development and coordination of offers for the integration of refugees
• Promotion of the intercultural exchange between refugees and student
• Education for democratic citizenship and intercultural sensitisation of students

The initiative exists since September 2015.

With our Buddy Program, we support refugees with their concerns. Whether it's about their studies, getting to know the TU Dresden, finding a language tandem, helping to visit the authorities, or even about something completely different, such as getting to know the city, we will try our best to offer them different supports.
