The Joachim Herz Foundation announces the new prize "MEGAFON - Prize of the Joachim Herz Foundation for Outstanding Commitment in Language Promotion". It is breaking new ground in language education with the aim of strengthening the project landscape in this field in the long term.
The award is announced nationwide and honours special language promotion initiatives in two categories whose offers are directed at youths and young adults between the ages of 10 and 25 - target groups that, in our opinion, have been given too little consideration in language promotion up to now. In each category, a main prize of €25,000 and a promotional prize of €10,000 will be awarded. The call for entries runs from 1 February to 31 March 2021, and only non-profit initiatives can participate.
