Portrait photo shoot for refugees on their way to the labour market: social participation through better job application opportunities
On Thursday, 26 April 2018, at 5 pm at Dammweg 6, the application portraits and the CVs of the refugees will be ceremoniously handed over. This was preceded by the photo shoot on Saturday, 24 March, where 18 refugees were portrayed. Whether in front of or behind the camera - a total of over 50 people took part in the day of action. In addition to a dedicated photographer, the project was realised by the Malteser integration guides from "Treff Arbeitssuche" and "In Dresden Ankommen" (IDA), a student initiative at the Centre for Integration Studies at the TU Dresden. For this purpose, a studio was set up in the event rooms of the association "Schwarzes Schaf e.V." in Louisenstr. 44. The application portraits are now independently integrated into professionally prepared CVs every Thursday by the refugees - with the support of volunteers.
