The Refugee Law Clinic Dresden at the Centre for Integration Studies is looking for a student assistant (10 h/week) from 1 October 2020 for a limited period until 28 February 2021. The duration of employment is in accordance with the WissZeitVG.
The Refugee Law Clinic Dresden is a DAAD-funded project run by the Centre for Integration Studies (ZfI) and the Centre for International Studies (ZIS) at TU Dresden. It offers free legal advice to asylum seekers and refugees in Dresden. To this end, it annually trains students from all disciplines in asylum and residence law, who then engage in voluntary legal counselling.
The SHK carries out academic support activities within the framework of the Refugee Law Clinic Dresden. It supports the conception and production of explanatory videos on topics in asylum and residence law based on the training content of the Refugee Law Clinic Dresden.
Tasks:
- Supporting the scientific conception of explanatory videos
- Literature research
- Production of explanatory videos
Requirements:
- Knowledge of asylum and residence law
- Interest in creating animated videos (previous knowledge desirable, but not necessary)
- Enjoy graphic design and visualisation
- Good knowledge of German
- Independent and responsible working style
- High degree of creativity and ability to work in a team
