In the DHMD's "Face to Face" series, two authors meet and discuss their works. On 9 January 2019, Sharon Dodua Otoo and Olivia Wenzel will be guests and talk about being a woman and being black in Germany.

As part of the lecture series "Was zu tun ist. Demokratie geht jetzt erst los!", Naika Foroutan will speak on 07 November 2018 about the strategic demoralisation of societies by the extreme right. The speaker's concrete proposals for action will be presented and discussed.

From 07 to 09 March 2019, DaFWEBKON - a unique web conference for German teachers worldwide - will take place under the motto "Deutsch digital - von Anfang an!". Contributions can be submitted until 10 November 2019.
