Living inclusion in teaching
How can future teachers experience the inclusive dimension of education while still studying? The inclusion officers at TU Dresden make this possible. As part of QuaBIS, they offer courses and actively shape inclusion at the university.

Projects of the professorship
The QuaBIS team has been part of TU Dresden since 2019 and is part of the Chair of Education / Inclusive Education. At QuaBIS education and inclusion officers and Research Associates work together.
The aim of QuaBIS is to ensure that people with disabilities not only participate, but also have a say, help shape and permanently occupy university spaces and work on an equal footing in research and teaching.
The core tasks of the entire QuaBIS team are to develop and hold seminars in various educational science modules for student teachers at TU Dresden. In addition, the QuaBIS team takes part in conferences, networks, passes on knowledge and expertise in workshops within various disciplines at the TUD and in society and conducts research on various topics.
QuaBIS gives full-semester seminars, drives inclusive processes forward and implements necessary structural changes at the university. To this end, the Education and Inclusion officers have been working directly at the university since 2019, so they don't just come to the university as external advisors from time to time.
Detailed and up-to-date information (e.g., on job vacancies) is available on the QuaBIS website.
