Chair of Vocational Education represented for the first time at Dresden Science Night
On June 14, 2024, it's that time again: The Dresden Science Night will take place in Dresden. This time, we will be participating with our own stand on the topic of "Digitalization of vocational training using the example of automotive mechatronics - learning to diagnose with an automotive computer simulation". You can find us in the Zeuner Building (ZEU/255/Z).
Discover the world of vehicle fault diagnosis at our stand! Slip into the role of a trainee yourself and immerse yourself in an automotive computer simulation! When you have a problem with your vehicle, do you expect a workshop to identify your problems quickly and fix them cost-effectively? But have you ever wondered what knowledge and skills are behind a successful diagnosis of faults? In short: a lot! While many automotive mechatronics trainees have mastered simple fault diagnoses, they often reach their limits when it comes to complex problems. The reason? There is often a lack of practical experience, as training time is short and customer vehicles are rarely suitable for practical exercises. Visit our stand and find out how digital simulations can help overcome this practical deficit.
