Experimental theory

Objectives and content

The didactic laboratory practical is part of the module "Vocational Didactics - Learning in relation to work tasks" and focuses on teaching basic skills for designing, planning, carrying out and evaluating tests and experiments in the vocational Department studied. Scientific, epistemological and didactic findings are brought together and applied. The experiments and their use are analyzed and evaluated with the help of technological questions in relation to the support of the learning process and to clarify aspects of occupational, environmental and health protection in occupational work.
After completing the module, students will be able to design and implement work task-related teaching and learning processes in the vocational department with regard to the use of experiments.

Teaching and learning methods

The module comprises lectures (2 SWS), seminars (2 SWS), practical course (2 SWS) and self-study.

The module is offered every academic year, starting in the summer semester.

The module lasts two semesters.
