Teaching kitchen
In the Teacher Training - Middle Schools (subject WTH/S) and Teacher Training - Vocational Schools (Department of Food, Nutrition and Home Economics), students have optimal conditions to acquire and deepen their basic knowledge and practical skills in the field of nutrition.
The modern equipment includes not only various appliances for everyday food preparation, but also commercial kitchen appliances that make it possible to simulate professional situations in a practical way. In addition, the teaching and test kitchen offers space to experience food both sensory and experimentally.
The specialist room creates ideal conditions for combining theoretical content with practical professional requirements. In realistic teaching and learning arrangements, student teachers can be prepared for their future professional practice.
The teaching and experimental kitchen enables students to approach nutritional topics from both a scientific and didactic perspective.
