ASSOCIATION FOR THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF VOCATIONAL TEACHERS AT TU DRESDEN
The Association
The education and training of vocational teachers at TU Dresden has a history that goes back more than 100 years. This tradition is continually in need of new inspiration and support from institutions and companies which feel connected to the education and training of vocational teachers.
The non-profit association "Verein zur Förderung der Aus- und Weiterbildung von Berufspädagogen an der TU Dresden" (Association for the promotion of education and training of vocational teachers at the TU DRESDEN) was founded in 2014 and aims in particular to:
- Support innovative research and teaching at Technische Universität Dresden for teacher training at vocational schools
- Foster relationships with former students in the field of vocational education
- Organize forums to support those interested in the education and training of vocational teachers
- Support activities and initiatives that serve the education and training of vocational teachers in particular and cannot be implemented in any other way
- Support communication platforms for institutions of vocational education that contribute to the education and training of vocational teachers.
The inaugural meeting was held on Wednesday, May 15, 2014, at 5:00 pm in the Viktor Klemperer Hall, Weberplatz 5, Dresden.
More than 60 people responded to the appeal to establish this association.
