2nd edition of the book "Pflegedidakitk als Disziplin" published

The new edition of the book "Pflegedidakitk als Disziplin" contains a number of contributions from TU Dresden-based academics such as Anja Walter, Jonas Hänel and Dieter Grottker.

Former and current students such as Claudia Küttner, Katharina Rakette and Valentin Mühlberg also have their say in a contribution!

The revised new edition, which has been expanded to include current developments, offers a profound insight into the emergence and self-image of nursing didactics as a researching and teaching discipline. Starting from a historical review, the volume shows the main stages of development in their interweaving with educational and professional policy framework conditions and social discourses. The dynamics of development are revealed, the nursing didactic corpus of knowledge is introduced and the specifics of nursing didactics are explained in their tension. The expansion of the volume also concerns the constitutive terms, the areas of activity and challenges of the scientific discipline of nursing didactics as well as the expansion of the nursing didactics discourse to include an interdisciplinary perspective, in which scientists from essential reference disciplines of nursing didactics have their say and comment on their external perspective on the discipline.
