"Crises and Transformations" - Team of the DFG project HabTrans at the 29th Congress of the German Educational Research Association, March 10 - 13, 2024 in Halle

The team of the research project "Zur Transformation des professionellen Habitus von Pflegelehrer:innen" (HabTrans) designed several scientific contributions as part of a working group. Prof. Dr. Anja Walter (TU Dresden), Prof. Dr. Heidrun Herzberg (BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg), Andreas Dürrschmidt (TU Dresden) and Ann-Sophie Otte traveled to the DGfE Congress in Halle (Saale) to present and discuss empirical findings from the joint DFG project. Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg organized the scientific exchange on the historically significant grounds of the Francke Foundations.
The working group presented data from the two survey waves, which were collected at nursing schools as part of expert interviews with teachers, teaching ethnographies and group discussions with teams of teachers. Among other things, the contributions were dedicated to the question of the change in professional identity during the transition from the competence of nursing to the pedagogical skill of teaching (transformation of habitualized practices). The focus was on current nursing pedagogical expertise, which is needed to shape the generalist nursing training that has been in force since 01.01.2020. The clarification of intuitive knowledge plays a major role here. The working group was framed by the following presentations.
- Lecture 1 (Anja Walter): The framing of nursing education reform and the project,
- Lecture 2 (Ann-Sophie Otte): The influence of habitualized practices on nursing education,
- Lecture 3 (Andreas Dürrschmidt): Nursing school teams on the way to a "community of practice",
- Lecture 4 (Heidrun Herzberg): The further development of the praxeological-sociological theory of knowledge framework of the research project
