Current title: Doing (experience) knowledge exchange. The design of teaching-related dialog events as science management
Abstract of the research project: With the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in spring 2020, an increase in offers for (experiential) knowledge exchange was observed in higher education. In the broadest sense, this need for exchange revolved around dealing with the challenges posed by the pandemic situation. While universities were in a kind of state of shock at the beginning of the pandemic, community-oriented organizations provided low-threshold access to their knowledge building blocks and invited people to networking and exchange events. As the pandemic progressed, universities also adapted to digital exchange formats by creating new formats or transforming existing formats such as the Teaching Day. In this way, dialog events were created that offered space for the exchange of knowledge and experience, but also developed into places for negotiating "good teaching". This dissertation project aims to explore the extent to which teaching-related dialog events can promote the further development of studies and teaching and how teaching-related functions and processes of academic management change as a result. With the help of situational analysis (according to Clarke), online events that deal with "good teaching" in the broadest sense will be analyzed.
