The Social Education Teacher Training Lab (SETTL) is based at Technische Universität Dresden’s Chair of Social Education and Didactics of Social Education, and it offers you various opportunities.

Research in the field of vocational teacher training

The Chair of Social Pedagogy and its didactics, is involved in various research projects in the field of vocational teacher training.

The Chair

The Chair of Social Education and Didactics of Social Education is responsible for the academic education of those studying the subject of Social Pedagogy for Teacher Training at Vocational Schools. The holder of the Chair is Prof. Hans Gängler. Four members of staff and a schoolteacher delegated to the university provide the teaching. Moreover, the Chair participates in the joint project “Synergetic Teacher Training for Teaching at Vocational Schools,” which is funded by the Federal and State Governments as part of the High-Quality Teacher Education Offensive.
