LFB-Labs Digital: Student labs as a place for teacher training in the digital world
In the project LFB-Labs Digital: Student labs as a place for teacher training in the digital world, a research network consisting of employees from TU Dresden and other universities is investigating the conditions for successful teacher training using digital training in student labs.
TU Dresden is participating in this project by developing quality manuals based on DIN 33459 in cooperation with the individual student laboratories. In the later course of the project, audits are also planned to check the laboratories' working methods for conformity with DIN 33459.
DIN 33459 - "Requirements for the assessment, maintenance and improvement of the competences of learning guides - Requirements for persons" is a new standard for educational services that is being examined in this project with regard to its suitability as a minimum standard for teacher training.
We are thus investigating the implementation processes as well as the subsequent consolidation of the contents of the quality manuals at the individual student laboratories in order to be able to make recommendations regarding the possible use of the DIN 33459 standard.
