Welcome to the website of the Chair of Primary Education/ German Education
The Chair of Primary Education/ German Education at TU Dresden represents the entire spectrum of German didactics in its entire spectrum: (second) language acquisition and multilingualism, written language acquisition as well as children's and young people's literature and media and their didactics.
Following on from these areas, the two comprehensive learning fields of
linguistic and literary learning, which are understood to be closely interwoven and
and also develop synergetic potential.
Our research and teaching also focus on how children can be accompanied, observed and supported in their comprehensive learning processes. We view this from the perspective of process and skill orientation; diversity is seen as an opportunity.
