“Math-KLIPS”
The project “Math-KLIPS”: “Videos on Mathematical Competencies in Teacher Training for Primary Schools” provides videos in which mathematical tasks and problems are presented in a motivating and accessible way for teacher training students (with a focus on primary schools). The solutions are by no means prescribed beforehand but encourage learners to try out and discover things.
The aim is to consolidate mathematical and mathematical-didactical content and also to increase motivation for exploring mathematics. In particular, the videos are intended to stimulate a creative approach to mathematics.
The short videos, which are designed using stop-motion and structural mapping techniques, focus on typical ways of thinking, working and acting in mathematics, such as problem-solving, reasoning or modeling. Working on the problems presented is supplemented by giving assistance and didactic tips.
