Talk title: Multilingualism in Schools: Insights from Research and Practice (in Austria)

Olena Vasylchenko, a linguist and educator at the University of Vienna, will explore multilingualism in school contexts, focusing on both theory and practice. Drawing on research in linguistics, language didactics, and the role of schools  in supporting students from migrant backgrounds, she will offer insights on multilingual competencies, safe spaces, and the challenges of forced migration.
