The Covid-19 pandemic has given the concept of normality a new lease of life and there is a great desire for normality. Educational science is also confronted with the challenge of (re)establishing an old or new normality. From an educational science perspective, however, there is a need for clarification regarding this perfectly understandable desire for normality.
