To ensure that your application can be processed, please submit all documents to the Examination Office of the Faculty of Education at least one week before the date of the next Doctoral Committee meeting. You can find out when the next (planned) Doctoral Committee meets in Upcoming events.

The doctoral committee is expected to meet on the following dates in 2024:

• Wednesday, Febr 21, 2024
• Wednesday, Apr 10, 2024
• Wednesday, May 29, 2024, postponed to 15.05.2024
• Wednesday, July 10, 2024, postponed to 17.07.2024
• Wednesday, Sept 04, 2024
• Wednesday, Oct 23, 2024
• Wednesday, Dec 11, 2024

The presentation of the doctoral thesis for inspection, selection of examiners and invitation to the public defence are all made public. These events are announced on posters in the Faculty of Education building at Weberplatz 5, and here on the website.
