As part of your Teacher Training - Vocational Schools degree program, you can opt for the Cooperative Education in Technical Teaching (KAtLA) and earn a vocational degree in addition to your teaching degree.

Interested? Then you should make an appointment with the KAtLA coordinator during the first two semesters().

As a rule, you will then move to a company for twelve months after the end of the fourth semester to learn the practical skills of a profession in your chosen Department. At the end or after completing your internship, you can take an external examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) or the Chamber of Crafts and obtain a qualification as a skilled worker.
