Aptitude Assessment Ordinance for Social Pedagogy
Regulations on the assessment of aptitude for the Master's degree program in Social Pedagogy
On the basis of the provisions of the current Saxon Higher Education Freedom Act, you must submit further documents to determine your special aptitude for a place on the Master's degree program in Social Pedagogy in addition to the general application documents.
As part of this so-called aptitude assessment procedure, it is checked whether you have the relevant professional requirements for the Master's degree program in Social Pedagogy from your completed degree program. The application to determine special aptitude is a mandatory part of the application documents and is reviewed by an admissions committee at the Faculty of Education.
The regulations for determining special aptitude can be found in the aptitude assessment regulations: EFO_Sozialpädagogik_MA_4.3.2021
Once the assessment has been completed, a letter of aptitude will be issued by August 15 of the respective year at the latest. This is a prerequisite for enrolment in the Master's degree program in Social Pedagogy and must be submitted to the Admissions Office or International Office.
Further information on the individual steps of the application procedure and the deadlines can be found in the study information system under Aptitude Assessment Procedure.
